At The Outpost, we believe that we are called by God to lead the way in making a positive difference in men's lives through Christ-Centered relationships, discipleship, and service beginning at home and expanding to our neighborhoods, community and the world. We do this in three specific spaces that you can get involved in at any time:
Our men meet twice a month (2nd & 4th Sundays of each month) for a men's breakfast. We meet at 7:15 at Mr. Doug's restaurant in Yelm to gather around the table in fellowship and prayer. Feel free to drop in for breakfast at any time.
We believe men are developed best in relationships. To accomplish this, our men break off into discipleship groups of 3-4 that meet weekly via text, phone call, zoom, or face-to-face meetings centered around a discipleship curriculum. Currently, our men are reading and discussing Disciplines of a Godly Man. You can email firstname.lastname@example.org to get involved in one of these groups.
Once a month we gather for a more comprehensive meeting. The format of this meeting changes each month. Some months we gather for group discussion and a meal and other times we may go camping or participate in local events or service opportunities. You can check our church calendar here to find out more about upcoming events.
