Family Discipleship

This weeks memory verse is: 
 I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and her offspring; he shall bruise your head and you shall bruise his heel. (Genesis 3:15)

Here are a few questions for your family to discuss this week based on the teaching your kids received in class on Sunday. Space these questions out throughout the week and find natural times to bring them up. Use these questions to spark conversation over dinner or on a car ride.

Question One: Have you ever disobeyed your something your parents told you specifically not to do? Did you get in trouble?

Question Two: After God gave Adam a command not to eat from one special tree, what did the snake say to Eve to try to get her to disobey God? How did Adam and Eve respond? How do you think they should have responded?

Question Three: When Adam and Eve ate the fruit, who were they choosing to believe? What were the consequences for listening for making the wrong choices?

Question Four: What happened to the whole world as a result of Adam's sin?

Question Five: What promise did God make to Adam and Eve after they disobeyed? How did God Keep it?
