February Week 3 Family Discipleship

This weeks memory verse is: 
 The Lord is with us; do not fear. (Numbers 14:9)

Here are a few questions for your family to discuss this week based on the teaching your kids received in class on Sunday. Space these questions out throughout the week and find natural times to bring them up. Use these questions to spark conversation over dinner or on a car ride.

Question One: This week we learned about some promises that God made to Abraham. Can you name some of those promises? What's a promise you have made before? Did you keep it?

Question Two: How many people went to spy on Canaan? What did they report? In Jr. Explorers we learned a song about this. Wonder if they remember it and can teach it to you.

Question Three: What was the names of the two spies with a good report? Why do you think they had a good report?

Question Four: Pastor Devin mentioned five things that color the way you see and interact with the world. Can you remember what they were? Pick one out to talk specifically about.

Question Five: Pastor Devin mentioned three really important words. Observant, prepared, and genuine. Spend some time talking about what those words mean, and why they are important.
