Here are a few questions for your family to discuss this week based on the teaching your kids received in class on Sunday. Space these questions out throughout the week and find natural times to bring them up. Use these questions to spark conversation over dinner or on a car ride.

Question One: When God first asked Jonah to go to Ninevah, why didn't Jonah want to go? What did he do instead?

Question Two: Have your parents ever asked you to do something that you didn't want to do? Did you listen right away?

Question Three: Why did God send the big storm on the boat? How did God save the sailors and Jonah?

Question Four: Why did God want Jonah to go to Ninevah? What happened when Jonah finally made it to Nineveh?
 
Question Five: Today's story was about Gods mercy. What is mercy? How does God show us mercy today?
