Family Discipleship December Week 2

This weeks memory verse is: 
 Two nations are in your womb, and two peoples from within you shall be divided; the one shall be stronger than he other, the older shall serve the younger. (Genesis 25:23) 

Here are a few questions for your family to discuss this week based on the teaching your kids received in class on Sunday. Space these questions out throughout the week and find natural times to bring them up. Use these questions to spark conversation over dinner or on a car ride.

Question One: Jacob was sneaky. What were some of the ways he was sneaky? Are you sneaky? What are some of the ways that you've been sneaky?

Question Two: What did God tell Rebekah before the twins were born? Did God change his mind when he saw Jacob cheating his brother? What does this tell us about God?

Question Three: What does Esau mean? What about Jacob? Do you remember what Jesus means?

Question Four: Why is it good news for us that Jesus is our savior?
