Family Discipleship November Week 2

This weeks memory verse is: 
 I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you and make your name great, so that you will be a blessing.  (Gen 12:2)

Here are a few questions for your family to discuss this week based on the teaching your kids received in class on Sunday. Space these questions out throughout the week and find natural times to bring them up. Use these questions to spark conversation over dinner or on a car ride.

Question One: What is a promise? What is something you have promised to do?

Question Two: What is the promise that God made to Abraham?

Question Three: What did God tell Abraham to do with Isaac? Do you think Isaac was scared? If you were Isaac, would you have been scared?

Question Four: Do you think it was easy for Abraham to believe God's promise? Is it always easy for us to believe promises made to us?

Question Five: What are some of the promises that God has made to us and that he has kept? Are there any he hasn't kept?
