Family Discipleship November Week 3
November 19th - 18th
Let's Make a Deal
Watch the Youtube video of this week's lesson.
This weeks big truth is:
God can always be trusted.
God can always be trusted.
This weeks memory verse is:
He (Abraham) believed the Lord and he counted it to him as righteousness. (Gen 15:6))
He (Abraham) believed the Lord and he counted it to him as righteousness. (Gen 15:6))
Here are a few questions for your family to discuss this week based on the teaching your kids received in class on Sunday. Space these questions out throughout the week and find natural times to bring them up. Use these questions to spark conversation over dinner or on a car ride.
Question One: Has someone ever made a promise to you? What are some of those promises? Was it hard to trust that they would keep their promise?
Question Two: What was the promise that God made Abraham? Did Abraham ever have doubts? How did God respond to his doubts?
Question Three: With God's help, what did Abraham believe about God's promises? What do you think faith is?
Question Four: Can you list some of the good things that you have done this week? Were those good things that you did enough to make you perfect to God? Did you do anything bad this week?
Question Five: If everyone is sinful, and no one is holy and perfect, how can we be right in God's sight? How was Abraham considered righteous in God's sight?

List of good things Wally has done this week (according to Wally): cleaning up his playroom, organizing his clothes baskets, doing what mom said (but not dad 🙈), giving Halloween candy to willow and freya.
And then he asked us to pray over him that he would grow up and live in a Lego house.
