Family Discipleship December Week 1

Here are a few questions for your family to discuss this week based on the teaching your kids received in class on Sunday. Space these questions out throughout the week and find natural times to bring them up. Use these questions to spark conversation over dinner or on a car ride.

Question One: What promise did God make to Abraham that made Sarah laugh? What are some promises that God has made to us?

Question Two: Over the last several weeks we've been talking about God's promises. What are some of the things you remember about God and his promises?

Question Three: What crazy command did God give Abraham? Why did Abraham choose to obey God?

Question Four: Did Abraham sacrifice his son? What happened to save Isaac's Life? What does that teach us about our God?

Question Five: What is the punishment for sin? God provided the ram to save Isaac's life. Who did God provide to save our life from death? What is the only way to escape God's punishment for sin?
