Family Discipleship June Week 3

This weeks memory verse is: 
 They kept mocking the messengers of God, despising his words and scoffing at his prophets, until the wrath of the Lord rose against his people.

Here are a few questions for your family to discuss this week based on the teaching your kids received in class on Sunday. Space these questions out throughout the week and find natural times to bring them up. Use these questions to spark conversation over dinner or on a car ride.

Question One: What were God’s people doing that showed they were not keeping their promise to God?

Question Two: Since God promised he would curse them if they didn't change their promise, why didn't God curse them right away? What did God do to try to change their hearts?

Question Three: Are you able to obey God's word perfectly? What do people deserve when they sin? How did Jesus take the curse for us?

Question Four: How is Jesus better than all the kings before him?

Question Five: How is God's kingdom different than any kingdom that came before?
