Here are a few questions for your family to discuss this week based on the teaching your kids received in class on Sunday. Space these questions out throughout the week and find natural times to bring them up. Use these questions to spark conversation over dinner or on a car ride.
Question One: How did Pharaoh react when Moses told him what God had said? What happened when Pharaoh refused to listen and do what God had commanded?
Question Two: Have you ever been told to do something that you didn't do? How did that work out for you?
Question Three: How did we see God as more powerful than Pharaoh? How did we see God's power over creation? What was accomplished by what God did?
Question Four: What happened when the Israelites put the blood of the lamb on their doorpost?
Question Five: Why is this story important to us today? What are we saved from when we trust that the blood of Jesus perfectly covers our sin? How is Jesus like the lamb in the story?
